One suggestion:

In addition to he random access tempos on the right, it would be very helpful to have a bar or buttons of traditional MM tempos from 40 to 208 in the traditional increments.

I also like someone's idea about keyboard controls for star/stop - that would make it so much easier. I agree with less mouse the better.

Why do you absolutely refuse to put a bell in simple metronome?!

I really like the simplicity of the simple metronome, but I think a start/stop toggle key (space bar?)would be very helpful, and maybe up and down arrows to change speed. The less mousing the better. Thank you!

Simply Fantastic. As a suggestion, it would be great on advanced version if you could have 1/2 time for the sounds....

I agree on the bell for the simple version. Just a 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 Bell like every old fashioned metronome has. No fancy stuff. I love the simple version much more. And just as a suggestion, for the advanced and hopefully in the future simple metronome, it would be nice to combine the 'bing' of the bell with the 'tick' of the metronome sounding at the same time. Otherwise it throws you off a little bit and gives the feeling that a tick is missing. I'm a classical violin player and will stick to the simple version. Excellent Job!!

You're absolutely right brother, I understand your point. But you know when you buy a metronome in the store it does have those bell settings, even a simple one. Nothing more, no bars or color changes. That does indeed belong to an advanced one. If someone doesn't like the bell they can turn it off. But I want to add that you've done such a great job already, I feel selfish asking for more :) I'm a classical player so I'll definitely stick to the simple look!

And what if i create visual animation - same as in simple metronome - on advanced one. Is that good solution for you ??

I'm not sure about changing "simple" one because maybe you like bell sound, but others not. And maybe some other user want another feature like bar meter, or different colors.

I love the look of the simple metronome! Is it possible to add basic bell beats? like 2/4 3/4 4/4 and 6/8? That would make it the most perfect metronome for me! A nice ding! bell sound would be absolutely fantastic! Thank you, brother!

I don't really get it.
There is start/stop switch in simple metronome. This is the same which is used to wind up the metronome.

But If you would like to have start switch such that metronome clicks just in the moment of pushing start button, than I have to tell you that it just can't be done in flash/flex. (It can but not in real, precise metronomes like here we have :) )

But maybe you would like to have an key attached to start/stop. It's an easy task.
