I think it would just be nice to have an option to allow all the beates to have the same note value so that if I play a song in F major or any other key I can put the pulse to F. This helps people practice with intunation (which is really nice). Also if you happen to have one beat option it could end up being the 6th of the key which sounds awfull to play along with.

One more thing. I mainly use this metronome to subdivide sixteenth notes. I personally find it better to play when I can use the metronome tick with a lower pitch or a really high on depending on what I play. So maybe just give a high and low pitch option since some pitches stand out better for different people (I know there is the synth but the tick works better I use the synth for main divisions (quarter notes)
